Getting Here

By car

Hilton Birmingham Metropole is easy to access from the M1 please be aware car parking at the hotel is limited and does come with a charge of £12. Due to demand the overflow car park may have to be used and is a 20 minute walk to the hotel.

By train

Birmingham International Train Station is a short 14 min walk from the Hilton Birmingham Metropole. Courtesy buses are available from 'Stop C' which run at 30-minute intervals. It is a 5 minute trip from the train station, the shuttle service can be contacted via the telephone (sign posted with the Hilton logo, adjacent to subway).

By bus

Birmingham International Rail Station is on major bus routes

By air

Take the monorail to Birmingham International Rail Station and catch a courtesy bus from 'Stop C'


At LARAC 2020, all guests are advised to stay onsite at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel.


Please note, accommodation is issued on a first come first serve basis. Please also be aware that accommodation is randomly allocated to those who attend the conference by the hotel, this includes a selection of room types from single rooms and double rooms. Unfortunately due to the number of rooms needed this event, it is out of the organisers control.

If you are a LARAC member, LARAC would be delighted if you could join them at their reception on the 13th October from 20.00.


There will be a buffet dinner, drinks and games.
